Brian HsiehI am a retired ICU nurse and educator. As a result of work injury to my right arm and elbow, I suffered incredible amount of pain, had decreased function of my right arm and eventually developed a contracture.I began seeing Brian Hsieh on June 1, and it was the best thing I ever did. I found him to be very knowledgeable in terms of the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and he did a thorough assessment of my arm from fingers to neck. At each appointment, he worked on stretching muscles, releasing scar tissue and improving range of motion in my arm. While the massage was painful, Brian has continued to be very patient with my pain and only works on the arm to my pain tolerance. He is very gentle and constantly asks if I can tolerate this much pressure, or how much pain I’m having.Over these 3 months, I have now been able to regain more function of my arm, I no longer have the same degree of contracture or pain. I can use my arm to perform activities of daily living such as to carry groceries, do self care, and to drive! I am so grateful to Brian for his hard work and patience, and I thank him for his professionalism, his kindness and his dedication to his patients!Forever grateful!

I've been going here for the last two years and it has made a major difference in my life. My chiropractor is Dr. Payam Vala and he's been fantastic. He's very nice, sociable and knowledgeable. He has provided me with everything I've needed since day 1. Never tried to upsell me or make me come in more than I have to. Reception is always very nice and accommodating for and scheduling. I've even extended my services here to massages to help with my back/neck pains. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I had a mediocre experience. I have had neck pain for many years, and started seeing one of the chiropractors here. At first, I noticed some improvement, but the progress quickly plateaued. I found the adjustments were not sufficent. My neck muscles would tighten and my joints would shift within an hour of my appointment. Also, my chiropractor had a hard time actually performing the adjustments on me. She would twist and snap my neck, causing soreness that lasted all day, but couldn’t get the joints to “click.” Then she would complain to me that I am “sooo stiff.” Gee thanks, that’s why I’m here! She would use the little clicking device almost all the time, and it didn’t seem to help.I also found she did was always doing the same adjustments in a very quick way, not taking any time to see how things are improving (or not improving). It was like an assembly line- everyone in and out without a thought. They want you to keep coming back over and over- I was here for a long time before I finally decided this clinic couldn’t help me, despite the inital improvmentI started seeing another chiropractor somewhere else, and I noticed WAY more improvement in one session. He had NO problems adjusting me, and my pain was completed eliminated. I was shocked. Also, no tight muscles or shifting joints, even long after the appointment. Maybe some of the chiropractors here are good, but not the one I saw.

I wish I could give more stars. My wife and I loved Bayview Village Wellness after our first chiropractor appointment with Doctor Payam Vala. It’s always hard to find what we are looking for. Especially like a good doctor, a good dentist etc…. And I notice that in Toronto people settled with whatever is ok or decent enough. Well my friends if you are looking for something greater than what you have already then do not look further. We found a great chiropractor in Toronto for you. BAYVIEW VILLAGE WELLNESS!!!If you are in need of a chiropractor go see Dr Vala. He is just awesome. The first time I went to see him I was such in a bad shape and within 30 minutes talking to me he understood exactly what was wrong with me.. After a couple of session with him, all my pain was gone, and for a year once a month I go see him for an adjustment. Now we have to move back to Calgary Alberta and we will miss Dr Vala. Whoever is living in North York and around are lucky to have such a talented chiropractor at your reach. Anyway after trying to convince (without success) Dr Vala to move to Calgary all I can say is that it’s going to be difficult to find another Dr as good as him.Yvan

I have visited this place with severe hand pain. Dr Luby who treating me is fantastic! She is a great person who interact and treat her patients with respect . She made me very comfortable in every visit. All the other staffs at this place also very nice . Highly recommend!
